Christmas dinner 2006 found Caitlin and I together at Mt. Bachelor, in Central Oregon. Caitlin cooked some masterful yorkshire pudding, I nailed the prime rib, a fire was roaring and the Christmas tree was absolutely beautiful. The afternoon's powder had been deep and we were looking forward to the arrival of both sets of parents and Caitlin's sisters.

Much of the meal was spent looking back upon a monumental 2006. Little did we know that 2007 would bring a cumulative total of over three months of travel, new jobs and a relocation from Lafayette, CA to a yet-to-be-determined city near Seattle, WA.
